New Orleans, Louisiana…. what can I say? Well, I was born about 45 minutes from New Orleans so I have been there more times than I can remember but Good Food, Good Music and some Good Ole Cajun Company NEVER gets old!
I stayed at the Country Inn Suites in the French Quarter on Magazine Street. This old 19th Century building is everything that New Orleans is about. It has that old world charm that takes you back a century the moment you step in to it but with all the present day amenities. The hotel staff makes your stay a comfortable one and there is a a free hot buffet every morning and free wifi if you can’t resist the urge to reconnect with those outside.
You are in walking distance of everything from the hotel…. but why walk when you can learn about the history of the city while riding on a horse and carriage!

Walking around New Orleans always makes you hungry so be sure to stop by Johnny’s for the best Shrimp Po Boy in the French Quarter but be sure to save room for an after cafe au lait and some beignets! They never disappoint!
New Orleans has a beautiful aquarium, zoo and butterfly garden if you like those activities or if you are more in to ghost and cemetery tours there is no shortage of those! BUT if your like a lot of people that come to New Orleans you just want to get to Bourbon Street where you will DEFINITELY be entertained!
Whatever you taste in food and entertainment New Orleans is sure to deliver!
Bon Voyage!
